We are an active Chamber with over 450 members working to make Owasso a better place to live and work. We work in cooperation with other local chambers, the State Chamber and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
We have a close working association with the Owasso Economic Development Authority to encourage economic development through business and industrial growth.
A broad selection of committees is available to choose from, each with specific goals in the areas of organization improvement, public image, community betterment and economic development.
We work closely with state and local government representatives to pass legislation that is beneficial to business and the quality of life in and around Owasso.
Business Referral Service
A service for your business and for residents who inquire. We only refer callers to Chamber members. Listing and advertising in the Membership Directory is an additional advantage.
Advertising and Communication
We offer cost effective ways for members to advertise their business and circulate a monthly newsletter with a calendar of events to keep members current on Chamber and community events.
Free counseling services are available through the Chamber office for new businesses as well as existing business people who would like professional guidance in problem solving, expansion or promotion. A representative from the Oklahoma Small Business Development Center will schedule appointments.
We compile and distribute demographic information and list of local civic and professional organizations, manufacturers and industries. We also offer a packet of information on the quality of life and business climate in Owasso, which provides orientation material for new and potential residents and industries.
We sponsor and host many community events that bring hundreds of visitors to Owasso. We also furnish free vacation information and maps published by the State Department of Tourism.
We keep information readily available on how to contact your local, state and federal legislators, business incentive and tax information guides from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce and a guide of Chambers of Commerce, world-wide for members to use as reference materials.
