Economic Development
Owasso has continued to grow throughout the years. Since 1980, Owasso’s population has grown from just over 6,000 to over 19,000. In the decade of the 90’s, Owasso was the fastest growing community with a population greater than 10,000, in the state of Oklahoma. Residential and retail growth continues to thrive today.
The Owasso Chamber of Commerce plays a major role in the growth of our city. Our mission is to promote quality growth in every aspect of development in our city and our service area, increase the profitability of our members and enhance the quality of life for our citizens. The Chamber partners with OEDA, city officials, the Tulsa Metro Chamber, the State Chamber and the Oklahoma Department of Commerce to further economic development in our city and our region.
