The Owasso Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit, membership-based organization of local businesspeople and individuals who work to promote the business-friendly environment of our community.


We are focused on helping our local business owners succeed. The Chamber is dedicated to providing networking, education, and much more to the Owasso community of business leaders.

HISTORY

The Owasso Chamber of Commerce was incorporated on October 13, 1969; records indicate the organization dates back to 1951. The earliest records name Richard Hall as the Chamber and O.E.D.A. “Director”. The organization was housed at 301 W. Second Street. The first Chair of the Board was C.B. Sherill in 1953. The Chamber moved offices to 315 S. Cedar Street in the late 1980s. Gary Akin was hired to be the President of the Chamber in 1995, serving the Chamber for 27 years. In 2022, following Akin’s retirement, Chelsea Feary was hired as President & CEO.
